Prime Minister Visits Aqaba and Affirms Support for Investments and Economic Opportunities
We were honored to welcome His Excellency Prime Minister Dr. Jaafar Hassan to the city of Aqaba, where he toured a number of strategic development and investment projects that reinforce Aqaba’s position as a key economic and logistical hub in the region.
South Aqaba Investment Park: A Model Public-Private Partnership
His Excellency was briefed on the expansion plans of the South Aqaba Investment Park, where he emphasized the importance of supporting and expanding logistical and industrial investments. The park stands as a leading model of public-private partnership in Jordan.
Making it a vital contributor to economic development and employment generation in the region.
The Northern Project: Sustainable Development Serving the Local Community
The Prime Minister also reviewed the progress of the Northern Project, developed by the NREC Jordan in partnership with the ADC, covering an area of 534,000 square meters in northern Aqaba.
A specialized market study is currently underway to identify optimal uses for the site that ensure sustainability and deliver a positive impact on the residents of Aqaba and neighboring areas.
During the visit, the future vision and strategic plans for the Northern Project were presented, reflecting the government’s ongoing commitment to supporting comprehensive development initiatives and fostering sustainable growth within the ASEZA.
